Original Two Roosters is inspired by our Malaysian and Singaporean roots and a lifelong love for Hainanese Chicken Rice — a dish that’s simple, nostalgic, and deeply comforting.

The name Original Two Roosters started by paying homage to the cultural connection shared with this dish and nod to the Zodiac — both founders born in the year of the rooster. The spirit of “two roosters” lives on as a symbol of boldness, authenticity, and shared tradition.

We started as a market stall in Swiss Cottage market in September 2024. The overwhelmingly positive response that followed gave us the confidence to pursue a permanent location in London.
